Position Overview

We’re looking for enthusiastic, creative, and dependable Groupies (our nickname for freelance videographers/video content creators) to join our creator network. 

This role is ideal for content creators, social media enthusiasts, students, freelancers, and anyone who enjoys storytelling through video and photography. The gigs are flexible and project-based, allowing you to work around your schedule while building your portfolio and earning extra income.

What You’ll Do

- Option to just edit client-submitted content or go onsite to a client’s business and capture content, then edit it.

- Create short-form social media content designed for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

- Follow creative briefs while bringing your own personality and creativity to the content.

- Submit content promptly according to project deadlines.

- Represent SVG and its clients professionally during assignments.

- Stay current with social media trends, content formats, and platform best practices.

- Communicate effectively with SVG project managers regarding assignment details and deliverables.

Qualifications

- Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling.

- Comfortable capturing content on a smartphone or camera.

- Basic understanding of social media platforms and trends.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

- Reliable, professional, and responsive.

- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

- Previous professional content-creation experience is a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience creating Reels, TikToks or other short-form video content.

- Basic video editing skills using mobile or desktop editing tools.

- Photography and videography experience.

- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.

- Existing social media presence or content portfolio.
