Job Summary

North Georgia Drilling is looking for a CDL driver / drilling technician who can work hard, think on their feet, and handle real field conditions. This is not an entry-level job—we need someone who can show up, take responsibility, and get the job done.

If you’ve worked around heavy equipment, drilling rigs, or pump systems and aren’t afraid of long days, this is a solid, year-round position with a growing company.

What You’ll Be Doing

•  Assist with operating drilling rigs 
• Drive and handle CDL-required trucks and equipment
• Load, haul, and manage drilling materials and tools (like setting casing and pulling drill stems)
• Assist with well development, job setup and breakdown
• Work alongside crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely
• Maintain truck, rig, and equipment in working order

Requirements

• CDL (required)
• Experience with heavy equipment, drilling, or similar field work
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and handle physical labor daily
• Comfortable working long hours outdoors in all conditions
• Reliable, no excuses, shows up ready to work

Preferred

• Experience running or assisting on a drill rig
• Knowledge of well systems or pump work
• Mechanical skills (hydraulics, diesel, etc.)
