Enjoy a visit with your family to the Red Apple Barn, near Ellijay in the North Georgia Mountains. Come and savor our fried apple pies, fritters, breads, caramel & candied apples, jams & jellies, honey and, of course, some wonderfully cold apple cider! The farm has been in the family since 1927 and the first apple trees were planted in 1965. Pick-your-own apples, wild flowers and pumpkins on weekends in September and October. Come make some new memories on the farm tour as y'all enjoy a wagon ride or half mile hike to the apple orchards. 'U-pick' times are Saturdays 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons from 1:00-4:00 p.m, Mondays and Fridays 11-3. You'll find several picnic areas, and our unique farm play grounds, a walking trail, cows to feed, pumpkin painting, plenty of picture spots and nature to enjoy around the farm...all included with your admission! School field trips and tour groups please call ahead for optional days and pricing! We also have candles, nuts, and other gift items...You never know what treasures you'll find at the Red Apple Barn!
