The Marketing and Social Media Manager will administer Joyful Journeys’s direct mail, email, and social media marketing and advertising. Administration includes but is not limited to:
• Collaboration with agency management
• Goal setting
• Development and execution of marketing and social media calendar
• Content management
• SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
• Management of in-house direct mail and email marketing lists and programs
• Creation of monthly electronic newsletter
• Development of brand awareness
• Protection of online reputation

The Marketing and Social Media Manager is a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for connecting Joyful Journeys to new clients and strengthening relationships between Joyful Journeys and existing clients.

Desired technical and creative skills include:
• SEO knowledge
• Social media expertise
• Mastery of social media management tools
• Creative and technical writing proficiency, including accurate spelling and grammar
• Keen eye for design
• Competence in Word, Excel, graphic design software such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, and desktop publishing 

Hours, Compensation, and Benefits
• 10 hours per week (This is a new position. Hours may increase as the job description develops.)
• Starting wage of $10 - $13 per hour, dependent on experience
• Flexible work schedule
• Option to work in office and/or remotely
• Occasional opportunities for travel

The Marketing and Social Media Manager reports to Lisa Lacey, owner and manager of Joyful Journeys.
