Job Description

The essential function of the position within the organization is to manage operations of the County Tax Commissioner’s Office. The position is responsible for supervising Property Tax and Motor Vehicle offices and personnel, overseeing preparation of the County’s annual Tax Digest, overseeing preparation of property tax bills, preparing departmental payrolls, bookkeeping and assisting the Tax Commissioner as directed, and performing related administrative/clerical tasks. The position works under general supervision independently developing work methods and sequences.
