Ellijay Farmers & Artisans Market Manager

Ellijay Farmers & Artisans Market organizers are seeking a Market Manager for the 2023 season which runs each Saturday from May 6 - September 30, 2023 in parking lot adjacent to the Gilmer County Courthouse (in back of the Watkins House (downtown Chamber Welcome Center).  Hours will be 7 am to 1:30 pm. The manager will arrive by 7 am to direct vendors to their space assignments, set up the welcome tent and banners, put up road barricades and be on-site to answer vendor and customer questions.  Manager will also ensure vendors are packed up and out of the parking area by 1:30 pm. Market Organizers will also have volunteers on site each Saturday to assist manager.  This is mostly a volunteer, civic opportunity.  However, a small stipend will be available to the manager.  Manager could also be a market vendor!  Contact Chris Cleberg, 706-972-9301 for more information.
