With great food\, wonderful Colorado wine and an evening dedicated to pure networking\, this year will be no exception.\n\nIn addition to the wine tasting and great networking\, we're partnering with Open World Learning to do a school supply drive that will benefit at-risk students. Every year many at-risk students head back to school without the necessary tools to be successful. In the upcoming school year OpenWorld Learning will provide its innovative technology and leadership program to approximately 500 students throughout Metro-Denver. We're asking for your help to support OpenWorld Learning’s students\; will you please bring two items from this list to the event? OpenWorld Learning will have a table for you to learn more about the programs and to drop off the supplies. \n \nLike other CSIA events\, this event attracts hundreds of key decision-makers. Historically\, between 24% and 30% of those attending CSIA events have been C-levels\, Partners or Presidents. With an expected attendance of more than 400 technology and bioscience professionals again this year\, this event will take professional networking to the next level.\n\nDid you know\, Colorado is home to nearly 100 different wineries? Check out this article from ColoradoBiz Magazine about our Colorado wineries and this growing industry \n\nColoradoBiz Magazine’s columnist The Wine Wench also writes around all areas of wine from the grapes and locations\, to getting techy with wine on your phone as in this article "iPhone Your Wine\,†or check out other articles written by The Wine Wench. \n\nGarfield Estates \nOver the last 8 years\, Garfield Estates transformed the historic farm they purchased in early 2000 into a state-of-the-art winery and state vineyard. They acquired Garfield Estates from the granddaughter of the family that originally homesteaded the land well over 100 years ago. From the very beginning they wanted to create a premium winery while also retaining the historic aspects of this property. Their winery is renovated from the original barn and incorporates this historic building into a modern winemaking facility. Currently they have 11 acres planted with five different varieties of grapes: Syrah\, Viognier\, Sauvignon Blanc\, Semillon\, and Muscat Ottonel. \n\nTwo Rivers Winery\nNestled between the gateways of the Colorado National Monument is our family operated winery. Although Two Rivers Winery and the Chateau are relatively new\, they are both becoming Grand Junction’s Newest Tradition. The entire project was built literally from the ground up on 15 acres of vacant land in 1999.\n\n\nD’Vine Wine \nD’Vine Wine is a boutique winery specializing in custom wines made from the highest quality varietals. By the glass or by the bottle our vintners will guide you through the process of customizing your very own wine. D’Vine Wine\, your personal winery is truly a unique experience for the wine novice or the wine expert. Our winery produces many award winning wines from the finest juices. Starting from the juice\, rather than growing our own grapes\, allows us to offer a wide variety of wines from the bold reds\, to crisp whites\, to fruit and dessert wines.\n\nBalistreri Vineyards \nBalistreri Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery dedicated to making high quality wine. The winery was licensed in 1998 and they released their first vintage in February of 2000. Their wines are primarily made with vinifera varietal grapes purchased from growers in the Grand Valley Viticultural Area located in Western Colorado. Select wines of Cabernet Sauvignon\, Merlot\, and Muscat are produced with grapes from their own Denver Vineyard. Their winemaker John Balistreri combines both traditional wine-making methods and modern technology to produce award winning wines.\n\n\nVerso Cellars\nFounded in 2001\, Verso Cellars is Colorado’s largest producing vineyard of cabernet sauvignon grapes. \nFifteen acres of certified rootstock purchased from Sonoma Grapevines Nursery\nin California were planted in the spring of 2001on their 19.22 acre parcel in\nEast Orchard Mesa. The cabernet grapes are of the highest quality and\nconsist of a distinctive blend of six clones which when made into wine results\nin lovely combinations yielding unique wines.\n\n\n\nTicket Information:\nCSIA Members $55\; Premium Member Receive 2 complementary tickets.
