PEAKS: Sick Houses
All sessions for adults 55+ ENJOY FREE LUNCH AT NOON This course will explore a home’s interior and consider exposure to a number of common environmental factors impacting both new and older homes, such as carbon monoxide gas, radon gas, mold, volatile organic compounds, dust mites, animal dander, asbestos, lead and other contaminants. Health issues resulting from sick homes and tight homes will be discussed. Learn ideas for management, remediation and removal of environmental factors to promote a healthier home.
